Before anything else: contributing to The Boom Bap Bible is not the price of listening. The Word was never meant to be sold, and I mean that.

Every chapter streams 100% free on this site — no subscription, no "premium tier" to unlock verses, no charging anyone to hear God's Word. Paywalling Scripture isn't in my heart and never will be. Your contributions are what make free forever actually sustainable.
The listening experience
Never interrupted.
On this site and the upcoming apps, I will never cut into a chapter with an ad. No pre-roll, no mid-roll, no interruption between verses. Scripture flows start to finish. (See the FAQ below for how I think about ads in general.)
On the roadmap
Apps + Discord bot.
Native iOS + Android apps so Boom Bap Bible travels with you — offline, background audio, CarPlay, Android Auto. Long-term: a /boombapbiblebot Discord bot so servers can play chapters via slash commands. Same free model across all of it.

Questions people actually ask
Will you ever charge to listen, or put up a paywall?
Never. I will not charge anyone to hear God's Word. No paywall, no subscription, no 'premium' tier to unlock chapters. That's a promise. Every chapter on this site (and the upcoming apps) streams 100% free for anyone who wants to listen.
Will you ever run ads?
The listening experience is sacred — inside a chapter there will never be a pre-roll, mid-roll, or post-roll ad interrupting the Word. That's non-negotiable. I'm not against advertising in principle, though, and over time you may see non-intrusive, Christ-centered promotions around the site (faith-aligned brands, ministries, books, music I believe in) — never generic 'slap-them-anywhere' Google ads that show whatever garbage Google decides to show. Anything I promote will line up with the heart of this project. I may also occasionally drop in my own promos (YouTube subscribe prompt, new releases) — kept minimal. Those will be controllable from Settings: if you mark 'already subscribed on YouTube,' for example, the follow-me interstitials turn off.
What about ads on YouTube?
YouTube runs its own ads between songs on my channel, and I don't control them — that's YouTube's platform, not mine. For the cleanest, fully ad-free listening experience, use this site or (when they launch) the iOS / Android apps. Same catalog, zero mid-chapter interruptions.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet, but native iOS and Android apps are in development. Same 100% free model — just with offline playback, background audio, lock-screen controls, and CarPlay / Android Auto support for easier listening on the go. Your support helps ship them sooner.
Will there be a Discord bot?
Yes — long-term, the vision is a /boombapbiblebot that Discord servers can install and use with slash commands (e.g. `/bible genesis 1` to play a chapter in a voice channel). It's a passion-project goal further down the roadmap, and I'll ship it the same free way everything else is free.
Are contributions tax-deductible?
No. Even though this project is Scripture-focused, The Boom Bap Bible is an independent artist project — not a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. You should not claim contributions as charitable donations on your taxes.
Where does the money actually go?
Straight to me. It funds production time (programming, editing, mixing, mastering), plug-ins, the iOS/Android apps, the future Discord bot, and — most importantly — buys hours back from the day job so more of them can go into this project. It also helps fund my other music and the upcoming Sunday Scars Podcast.
Can I cancel a monthly contribution?
Yes, anytime. Stripe sends you a customer portal link on the receipt — one click to cancel, pause, or change tiers.
Will my name appear publicly?
Only if you opt in. The contributors wall is strictly opt-in. You can contribute anonymously at any tier.
I run a business — can I sponsor?
Yes. Major tiers (one-time $250+ or monthly $25+) can list a business name, logo, and outbound link on the contributors wall. Do contributors get the music for free?
The music is already free for everyone on this site — no paywall, ever. Contributions fund the making of it, not access to it. Certain higher tiers get early access to new drops before they go fully public.
